Schedules change, so check the stops on each result. This page searches LAX only, although SJC's nonstop list also names Hollywood Burbank (BUR), Long Beach (LGB), Ontario (ONT) and Orange County (SNA), all with Southwest. Southwest departs SJC from Terminal B, gates 22 to 34, while Delta and American check in at Terminal A. SJC says security opens at 4 a.m. in Terminal A and 4:15 a.m. in Terminal B, and both checkpoints have TSA PreCheck and CLEAR. Without a car, ride BART to Milpitas or Caltrain to Santa Clara Transit Center, then VTA Route 60, the Airport Flyer. VTA says construction has moved its Terminal A stop about 1,000 feet north, near the Delta ticket counters.
On landing, Southwest passengers arrive at LAX Terminal 1, American uses Terminal 4, and Delta has gates in Terminal 3 or Terminal 2.
